GO ANIMATE
Go Animate is a really fun application to create real cartoons, complete with sound and characters and settings/backgrounds. My students will have so much fun with this next year! While I can't think of any immediate uses for it, I am certain that my lesson planning will include the use of this fun technology. From character contrasts, to writing dialogue, there will likely be tons of fun uses for this program. Here's the one I created: Welcome to Mrs. Williams' Class!

Creating this glog was relatively easy.I can see lots of opportunities to use this application in teaching.
